We had the good fortune of connecting with Ephraim Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ephraim, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
I believe creating whatever is on my mind makes me happy. Being able to bring certain scenarios and visions to life. Sharing it with family and friends & just seeing other people enjoy my work. Having that freedom to just make whatever I like and not worry about other peoples opinion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m always excited to just continue to learn and keep on elevating. I’m excited to see what where I go with my creativity and what I’m gonna be able to do with it. I got where I am today just being me honestly, Its not always easy because Ill have desperate times or be feeling burnt out but I’m thankful that I’ve been able to continue. Many moments have came where I’ve been tired of picking myself up and staying positive but sometimes it just takes me tapping in with myself & relaxing. Biggest lesson I’ve learned is to chase my dreams and not the money. I often get burnt out when it turns into doing it for the money, I really wish I could be able to create without worrying about being stable financially. But I’m not to set on what I want the world to know about me yet, I’m just doing what I love right now and grateful to get a little recognition & get out of the shadows.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Downtown is probably the most interesting place in Charleston. We don’t have too much new major attractions, its just a lot of historic attractions. Downtown is just more fast pace with a lot of people & stores to interact with. I would personally just bring a friend around the city with me because a lot of people say Charleston is similar to New Orleans.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A lot of people deserve some recognition when it comes to my story. I get a lot of my influence from my parents, their music selection and environment growing up has had a huge impact on me. Always wanting to follow behind my older brother and his friends also helped shape me. My grandmother is one of my biggest inspirations, she’s a very strong lady who will do anything for me & lives a wonderful life. I wanna be like her in some way. It’s just so much people I could give recognition and credit because I pick up a lot of motivation from others. I’ve been unmotivated lately just picking up a lot of motivation from my love Kourtney who keeps me at my best.
