We had the good fortune of connecting with Emma Adler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emma, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
The world around us fuels art, and my responsibility is to identify, transcribe, and communicate a work’s function or context and its relation to regional and global current events.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a full-time Master’s candidate in sculpture. Everything I have ever created falls into the category of sculpture, and I can’t remember doing anything other than what I do now. What sets me apart is my obsession with contemporary art history and my need to document every aspect of my experiences in the art world on my YouTube channel, @AMIADLER. I got to where I am today strategically; I posted myself from a young age over and over and over again, doing all sorts of performances on the internet; it got a lot of controversial attention and still probably does, but I love who I created, and I know exactly how to do it again for others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This question is funny because Atlanta is an insane city to navigate if you don’t know where to go. There are a couple of spots that I routinely go to. I love the galleries in the city and the art collectives that host their own shows. I’m talking about organizations such as Soul Theory, Artist Forum Atlanta, Concept Orca, Atlanta Art Week, and the Atlanta Art Fair, which is happening at the beginning of October.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people who, whether they’re still in my life or not, contributed to my ability to be where I am today in the art world. I can’t thank every individual by name because nobody would stay to read it all.
