We had the good fortune of connecting with Elyse Archer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elyse, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Fear has always been a green light that means go for me. Being willing to take big risks and do things other people are often too afraid to do has been the thing that creates the most revenue and opportunities for me. What helps me take big risks is to remember several things: 1. Nothing is permanent. I am going to die some day, so I frame decisions using my deathbed as a context. I ask myself – “what would I be most proud that I did when I’m on my deathbed?” The right answer always shows up then. 2. I always look at the best case scenario. Our brains naturally want to look at the worst case scenario, but I’ve learned to never make decisions based on fear, and instead to always ask what the best thing is that could happen, and then hold that vision while I go for what I want. 3. Never take yourself too seriously. 4. Everything can be fixed. If I go for something and it doesn’t work out the way I thought it would, that’s only feedback to try differently next time, not failure. 5. People willing to take big risks are the ones who change the world 🙂

What should our readers know about your business?
She Sells is a mentoring program and community for female entrepreneurs and sales professionals who are revolutionizing the way sales is done. I created it after spending many years in corporate sales and sales training learning sales techniques that ranged from feeling uncomfortable to flat out unethical. When I spoke with other women behind closed doors many of them shared the same sentiment, and I realized that there was a real need for sales and business mentoring that was customized to how women are wired. Women are naturally some of the best salespeople on the planet, but so often we’ve been taught that how our intuition tells us to sell is wrong, so we try to fit into a box that just never feels right. When you spend too much time trying to fit into that box, you ultimately find yourself questioning every aspect of your intuition, thinking other people know better than you and never fulfilling your income or life potential. This was my story for many years, but when I started trusting myself and running my sales and business in the way that felt best to me, everything shifted quickly and powerfully. I healed myself of major health conditions, skyrocketed my revenue from $10k months to $100k months in 6 weeks, and felt a sense of purpose, joy and ease that I’d never experienced before. My mission with this company and program is to help as many women around the world experience that same level of personal and professional transformation, and to create their own powerful quantum leaps.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a huge Phoenix and Dragon fan – I could spend hours and hours in that incredible little bookstore! So we’d definitely go there to check out all the fun spiritual books and gifts. We’d eat at a restaurant in Marietta Square by my home, and would definitely have to go for a hike or two on beautiful Kennesaw Mountain!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe all of my success to mentors and role models who paved the way for me! One of the biggest positive influences in my life has been my mentor Gina DeVee. She’s the first one who taught me how to make my femininity and spirituality my superpower in life and business, and helped me think WAY bigger about what was possible for me in every aspect of my life. To quote Gina, “How good are you willing to let life get?” 🙂
