We had the good fortune of connecting with Elif Çakıroğlu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elif, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I am a fine arts graduate and I have always loved colors, designing, and producing. The best thing I can express myself is to produce porcelain. While establishing my own business, I always thought about how I could express myself better, while catching the harmony of my designs and natural colors, I set out with the excitement that I could touch the lives of many people. The biggest factor behind starting my own business was my love for production, porcelain, and colors while doing this job, and being my job where I could express myself best.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I like to use harmonious colors from nature. Handicraft is always very valuable to me. Production is my biggest passion. Dreaming, drawing and producing is an invaluable feeling. Every product is produced with great effort and this makes it valuable. Art is our way of expressing ourselves and this creates extraordinary beauty.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The place I enjoy living the most is the city of Istanbul, Turkey. A place where life never stops day and night. Sometimes you wander in the middle of historical places, sometimes you eat a meal in the middle of the Bosphorus, sometimes you are in the crowd, sometimes you drink coffee alone in a forest where you can live life to the fullest.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my beloved family and my wife, who have always been partners in my success.
