We had the good fortune of connecting with Ebony Sharee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ebony, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
One of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make to date I’d say is having to leave my family to pursue my purpose. Being connected to your support system is life giving but when that disconnect happens, it’s like a new set of individuals have to step in to support you spiritually, emotionally and help you grow. Where you were originally in a cocoon, you sometimes need a new group of “breeders” to help you fly. That’s where I feel like I’m at in this season of my life. Family is everything but they aren’t always the ones that will be responsible for ushering you into your calling in life. There are others that will assist you in different phases to fulfill that.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are all individual. Everything I get or come up with I believe comes to me from God and is streamlined to me for others that will benefit from it. My brand is about your purpose and your faith. Building on that motto in whatever you are called to do in life. My life has not been a walk in the park, but I still have found time to stop and play. You have to find the beauty in the journey and also be optimistic about what it is you’ve gone through and why. Share that. Don’t let your pain go to waste. Trust me it was never in vain.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m spontaneous so, creating a fun environment for friends and people I love is built in me by the gift of hospitality. Start in Seattle, at the Selfie Museum then take off from there (Spend 2 days). We would go out to eat at a Japanese restaurant then that would turn into a scavenger hunt with our next stop being the airport. Booked trip to Thailand with an already set up Air BnB with room service and a dope chef for 3 days. There they would get Shopping bags written with the words in French, “Let’s Go Shopping!” Then we would end up in Paris for the weekend to shop at Avenue Montaigne and the Champs-Elysées. I know well thought out but I like to do it BIG. lol The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Everyone who has ever played a role in my life whether, family (aunties, uncles, cousins) friends, pastors, mentors, leaders, teachers and of course my mother who raised me. My mother always supported the movements I chose to make whether I stuck with it or not, She prayed and encouraged me throughout this journey and I would like to show her my love.
