We had the good fortune of connecting with Dyneshia Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dyneshia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I considered starting my own business, I wanted to make a meaningful impact that would go beyond traditional boundaries. My vision is to create a childcare center that not only serves newborns to 12-year-olds but also extends its reach to middle school and high school students. I want to create a safe and creative space where children of all ages can come together to explore, learn, and grow. As someone who was fortunate enough to have had enriching experiences in middle and high school, I recognize the value of providing similar opportunities to others. I want my business to be a blueprint for personal growth, creativity, and exploration. By offering trips and activities within the county, state, out of state, and potentially even abroad, I hope to broaden the horizons of my students and help them develop a deeper understanding of the world. My personal experience in middle and high school showed me the transformative power of extracurricular activities, and I believe that every child deserves access to similar experiences. By building my own business, I aim to create a space where children can discover new passions, develop their skills, and build lasting relationships. Ultimately, my goal is to make a lasting impact that goes beyond just providing childcare. I want to empower the next generation to become curious, creative, and compassionate individuals who will make a positive difference in their communities.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Blueprint Kids is a childcare facility that offers high-quality child care services to parents who want their children to grow in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. At Blueprint Kids, the belief is that children have unique capabilities that can be developed and help prepare them for the world. Blueprint Kids plans to open an after-school program for middle and high school students to provide support and opportunities in many areas during this development period. We’re just excited to be able to provide a unique space for each child to be able to receive what they need and more. We also want to have different creativity spaces where parents can come explore things with them and take part in their child’s education. This plan has been a dream of mines for some time now and as of recent events it has shown me that it is time to bring this dream into fruition. Of course this is not an easy process, each challenge we have faced has given us more motivation to stay consistent with the work. We are in the process of finding rental space or our own property so that we can open our doors. Although we do not have a building we still do family events such as our recent one Summer Fest at Forest Park Recreation center which Mayor Angeline Butler came by to show her support and we also have our Christmas Toy Drive. Here at Blueprint we want the community to know that we are here to support even before we open our doors. Being in this process has taught us a lot but one of the major things is that we have to create some partnerships with other companies for family and business support. It takes a village for things to be created and it takes each individual person doing their part towards the greater goal. This is not a process that should be rushed because we have learned a lot on this journey. Creating a business takes time and consistency and that will make sure we meet our mark.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I do not know where to even start. I am a foodie so I have a couple of places in mind. I know gut busters and or Homegrown for breakfast, Greedy Mans BBQ, the gobble shack and Edgewood pizza for lunch and dinner. I definitely would take my people tp karaoke. I am sure it will be plenty of events to in Atlanta. Can not forget little five point I have been hearing how much of a vibe it is.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I think about my journey, I am reminded of the several individuals who have played a significant role in shaping my path. First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the divine guidance of Yahweh, who has been establishing key people and opportunities in my life. I would also like to thank my loving family members – my parents, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins – My boyfriend, Sir Hasan, and his family for their unwavering support, love and encouragement. I would also like to extend my appreciation to influential mentors and friends who have made a lasting impact on my life Mrs. Price, the principal secretary from Pointe South Middle School Danaia Watson, Travis Turner, Lakessa Wilson, Jazmine Robinson, Skylar Jones, Maurice Freeman, Lessie Moore, Constance Dawson, Yolanda Jennings, Garyon Stiggers for their unwavering support and encouragement. Finally, I want to thank the entire Greedyman’s Bar B Que & Grill family for their kindness and generosity. Each of these individuals has made it their duty to support me in every way possible, from brainstorming ideas to attending events. Their collective energy and enthusiasm have fueled my passion and drive to succeed.
This journey has not been easy but knowing that I have such an incredible network of people behind me has given me the consistency to push forward. Thank you again to each and every one of these amazing individuals for their love, guidance, and support.”
