We had the good fortune of connecting with Dvir Ohana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dvir, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success in remodeling a space is my commitment to honesty and transparency with my clients. I believe in being a straight shooter from the start, sharing all the details upfront so that there are no surprises along the way. By setting clear expectations and maintaining open communication throughout the process, I ensure that clients feel informed, confident, and comfortable every step of the way. This approach builds trust and leads to better outcomes for everyone involved.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Getting to where I am today in business has been a journey built on experience, continuous learning, and a deep commitment to excellence. As a second-generation remodeler, I had the benefit of growing up around the industry, learning from the best, and understanding the ins and outs of the trade from a young age. This gave me a head start, but I’ve always sought to take things further by stepping up my game and embracing new techniques, materials, and design trends.
I’m always looking for something fresh—something that sets me apart from the rest. I love finding innovative solutions and exploring new ideas that haven’t been done before, whether that’s in the design process, the technology we use, or the way we approach our projects. It’s this forward-thinking mindset that has helped me stay competitive and continue to grow.
But more than anything, it’s been my unwavering commitment to honesty and transparency with my clients that has made all the difference. From the very first conversation, I’m upfront about what’s possible, what’s realistic, and what they can expect throughout the process. By being clear and open, I build trust, and that trust has led to long-term relationships, referrals, and a reputation that continues to open doors. It’s these principles—experience, innovation, and honesty—that have been the backbone of my success.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d definitely start with my favorite spot—the lake. I love being out on the water with my jet ski, feeling the breeze and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There’s something so freeing about being out on the lake, and it’s the perfect way to disconnect and have a little fun. After that, we’d probably fire up the grill for a BBQ—nothing beats good food, great conversation, and the sun shining down on you by the water.
For a more relaxed vibe, I’d take them to Avalon for a nice walk around the area. It’s such a cool spot with plenty to see and do—whether it’s grabbing a coffee or sitting down for some dessert. One of our favorite places to visit there is Café Intermezzo. It has that cozy, European-style ambiance, and the desserts are amazing. We’d sit, talk, and just enjoy the atmosphere.
It’s all about balancing outdoor adventure and a bit of downtime with great food and good conversation. Whether it’s jet skiing on the lake or strolling through Avalon, I think the best long weekends are spent with people you enjoy, soaking up the best parts of life in and around the city.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The person who truly pushes me and supports me in everything I do is my wife. She is my constant source of encouragement and motivation, always there to remind me of what I’m capable of, especially during challenging times. Beyond that, she’s a key partner in the business and an essential part of our success. She designs most of the projects we take on with clients, bringing her own unique vision and creativity to every space we remodel. Her eye for detail and ability to understand a client’s needs complements my work perfectly, and together, we create designs that we’re both proud of. Her dedication, both to the company and to me personally, has been instrumental in getting us where we are today.
