We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Niesha Cherry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Niesha, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Being healthy, practicing self-care, exercising, holistic wellness is not a quick fix. Creating a healthy lifestyle takes time and commitment. Everyday won’t be perfect, and that is okay. Finally, just because a certain thing worked for someone else doesn’t mean it will work for you. We are all different.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business helps women holistically. The 5 pillars of health my business focuses on when helping women are emotional & spiritual wellness, movement, nutrition, sleep, and stress management. We begin with your mindset because out of your mind flows your thoughts which creates your feelings. Your feelings drive your action which then produces your results. So in order to see any any change, we have to start with the mind. I am proud to still be in business, even through the pandemic. I have gotten where I am today by being authentic to who I am, hiring my own coaches, and allowing family and friends to support me as well. It has not been easy. Owning a business is not for the weak. You will have failures; however, you have to learn to fail forward. How do you fail forward? By evaluating the situation to learn what when well, what did not go well, and what you will do differently. Then implement the changes. The world should know that I am your One.Stop.Shop. for holistic health and wellness.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Eat: I would cook; however, if we eat out, we would eat True Food Kitchen, Flower Child, Upbeet, and TukTuk.

Drink: I drink mostly water; however, I love sparkling kombucha from True Food Kitchen, rose petal lemonade from Flower Child, and charcoal lemonade from Upbeet.

Visit: Chateau Elan for a spa day; Botanical Garden to view the beautiful flowers and sculptures they usually have; Mythos 150 which is where I work out; SkyView Atlanta for the beautiful view; The Roof at Ponce City Market to play games like mini golf, ride the big slide, etc. They also have food and drinks.

Hang out: My backyard around the pool; Hangout with my neighbors because they are very nice people and they usually have some type of gathering going oil.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people who I would like to shoutout. These people need shouting out because the provided emotional support to me, they helped me clarify things about my business and marketing, they supported my business in various ways. I would like to shout out my husband, Michael; my cousins Tamika and Step; and my two best friends Shonnie and Mary.
