Hi Douglas Pioneer Lacey | Artist/Actor/Musician/Motivator, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking is like food, it’s like clothes, risk taking is a necessity. I’ve found in my life when I play it safe or “all figured out” it leads to some unhappy gaps and unfulfilling streams of moments. Risk taking is the reason I am constantly pushing to get better in my entertainment career. Always being extraordinary takes forwarding risk!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am operating as a business but keeping the determination of a creative artist as my forefront. The understanding that I have to make a living but not at the expense of being cookie cutter is my consistent goal. As I create I want to give all that I am and allow others to see as I they relate.

One of the ways I’ve been able to help others while pushing in my passion is helping others in weight loss.

I am a artist that believes in the arts of relating and imagination. Acting is my primary focus at this time but I’m always recording and writing music looking forward to the right time to be out performing again.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Firstly I have lifestyle addiction to working out, so we would definitely get that therapy every morning. Then I’m taking you to a tea spot I’ve grown to love “ZENTEA” and they have the best lo-fi music.
Then we going to Botanical gardens to enjoy some green life. Then we will stop by Mellow Mushroom for some good eats. Go to a drive in movie. Also we must visit Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience – Atlanta.

We will finish each night with some positive affirmations and focusing on being the best us for tomorrow.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A book that I will share for the rest of my life is the “The Alchemist”. It literally allowed me to relate, grow, and forward in my life experience. One person I definitely want to shine a light on is my coach, my teacher, my mentor Bruce BlackShear.
