We had the good fortune of connecting with DOPENORTERIA LLC and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DOPENORTERIA, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Our thought process for starting a business was very natural. Since a child we new that we were going to peruse music as a career.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
DopeNorTeria LLC is a music production Duo that is based in Atlanta. The business was started by three friends in college ;Chad North, Jiele and Jordan washington. Now it just consist of The two brothers Jordan and Jiele washington. Initially DNT were producing for different artist in college. In our last year of college, we met Nicoli Demar, who became our manager. Nicoli helped us organize our business and helped us turn it into a brand. Now We specialize in being a one stop shop for artist. The services that we provide are Bespoke beat sessions, Recording, Mixing/mastering, and Dj services. DopeNorTeria Has also curated events in Atlanta like Laundry Day, Trade off and Dose of Dope. We are still learning new things as we go but that’s everyone that’s working for themselves. The main thing that we learned is that you can’t let your mess ups stop you. You have to learn from them and apply it to the next situation. DopeNorTeria wants the world to know that we believed that everyone has something Dope in them that just have to figure out what it is and own it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are plenty of people that inspired us to do music and molded our gifts but the main person that played a huge part in that was our Dad. He picked up on our musical Abilities and began to teach us different things pertaining to music.
