We had the good fortune of connecting with Donneisha Mashia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Donneisha, what role has risk played in your life or career?
What do I think about risk?

Taking risk or as I call it taking leaps of faith is important if you want to grow and succeed in life. You can’t be afraid of failure its life and everyone fails at some point but failure is how you learn, you learn from your mistakes. Sometimes you may fail when taking a risk and sometimes you may succeed. But one thing is for sure if you never take the risk you’ll never know what could be. Success could be on the other side.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I truly love what I do, being in the beauty industry has been a dream of mine since a teenager. And I believe that’s one of the biggest factors that set me apart this is something that I truly love doing, when I’m working, it doesn’t feel like work. I’m excited for the new things that I will experience because of Eyehanced.

I got to where I am today, through lots of hard work, and being consistent. I over came all the challenges that cane my way by never giving up. I’ve learned along the way it takes more than a skill to run a business, it’s about how you show up in the world, how you treat people.

When people think of Eyehanced, the brand I want them to think excellence, and Integrity. And to be inspired to live in their authenticity, and that they can succeed in being and doing something that they love if they believe in themselves.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to shoutout God for always being with me every step of the way, my mentor, friends, family, and all of my clients and loyal customers.
