We had the good fortune of connecting with D’Nia Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi D’Nia, how do you define success?
Personally, I feel as though success is defined by who you are and who you aspire to be. Success is measured differently for everyone. What may be considered a small accomplishment for one person could be considered a huge milestone for another. In today’s world, people are always comparing their success to the next person’s but the goals that you set for yourself can only be achieved through your own hard work and determination. In order for me to truly succeed, I need to follow through with the goals that I set for myself. Whenever I accomplish my goals I’m happy because I know that I’m only one step closer to where I really want to be. It doesn’t and shouldn’t take much to look at yourself in the mirror and see success.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My uniqueness is not doing what I think is cool. Instead, I do what I believe will add value to people’s lives and I’m proud of that since many people sometimes don’t do things they believe in. As a business owner, I got to where I’m at today by perfecting my craft and trusting the process. I had already envisioned my business ideas but it was up to me to really turn those dreams into a reality and after that, I realized that the process only got easier. There were many challenges along the way but I never wanted to give up. I want the world to know that my ‘WHY’ is to have as much of a positive influence on the world as possible! I am aiming to build relationships to help enrich the lives of others. I do it for all individuals from all walks of life. I’m convinced everyone has what it takes to dominate the world. I want to actually make a difference in my community and encourage self-love and self-care. I do it to leave a positive impact on people’s lives so that they can realize their true potential.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, shoutout to God because without him I am nothing. He has opened so many doors in my life and I will be forever grateful for the opportunities he’s blessed me with.

Shoutout to my family for raising me to be respectful of people from all walks of life. You all taught me that everyone, no matter how much we may differ from each other, deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. In today’s world, this is extremely important and I am incredibly grateful that I learned this at such a young age.

Shoutout to my aunt for helping me through all of my pain. You listened to me complain about my many ailments for many years and I know that must’ve been intense. I’m so appreciative of your support and encouragement during my times of need. It would have been nearly impossible to keep my head up and a smile on my face without you.

Shoutout to Transformation Church & Pastor Michael Todd, his expository teaching is so focused on God’s word. Thank you for creating such great content that resonates with every aspect of my life.

Shoutout to my GBC Boujee Babes for believing in me when I don’t believe in myself sometimes. Thank you all for purchasing, liking, reposting, commenting, etc. Words could never even begin to explain how grateful and appreciative I am of the support.
