We had the good fortune of connecting with Dj Fannie Mae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dj Fannie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency. I’ve never lost site of making my art a lucrative and freeing career. Life can often seem to fall apart, whether going through a bad breakup, family trouble, life life(ing) my career has remained a constant for me. I’ve found freedom in music and it’s been motivating chasing that freedom with consistency.



Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My life is art. I am DJ, music artist, that does visual art for therapeutic release. I believe my passion for my freedom of artistic expression and my authenticity is what sets me apart. I have made it my goal to be a transparent artist, one who is unapologetically true to myself, and for that I’m most excited about. Although. The journey to full transparency and self truth has not been an easy one, one of the biggest lessons that I’ve learned along the way is be yourself…. People will actually love you more when they can feel the “real you” not the person you think they expect you to be. I want the world to know my story is one of being different and how consistency is the key to how Ive become a Legend.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly if my best friend comes to town and wants a good time, they’d know I’m a horrible tour guide. I am a super home body. We may go out to a concert and grab a bite to eat, but other than that I honestly wouldn’t know what things to recommend they’d try out. We would be on an adventure to find somethings to do.


Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Thus shoutout is to Church Kids everywhere! We church kids are now chartering a new course, loving God and being transparent with our daily lives. We turn up and we pray! This is for us!
