We had the good fortune of connecting with Dianna King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dianna, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Never give up. This is my 6th venture and this will not be my last. Entrepreneurship is not for everyone. It gets hard and discouraging. It takes humility, knowing you’re worth, surrounding yourself with the right people, and taking breaks when you need it. There is no one true and straight path to success. Everyone’s path looks different and that’s what makes your journey and story unique. Change the trajectory of your business if you must but there is never a reason to give up on your dreams.

What should our readers know about your business?
The founding of Dianna’s Foods is an outlet for me to pass along knowledge and provide prepared artisan vegan products for families and individuals looking to make a transition into a healthier and/or plant based diet. Dianna’s Foods’ creamy cheese and mayo products are plant based and use gluten-free ingredients to create delicious and high quality replications of traditional mayo and cheese. People are shock to find out that our creamy cheese is made from vegatables and our mayo made from aquafaba. Our products are made without artificial flavorings or preservatives, contains protein, and can be used as a condiment or in traditional recipes (maybe your infamous family recipe that you’ve been craving lately). We strive to provide products that makes you feel good inside and out with our mayo and creamy cheese being part of our initial product line.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite place to visit in Atlanta is The Goat Farm in west Midtown. The goat farm was the place where my business partner and I would meet to brainstorm ideas for Dianna’s Foods. There is also a tea/coffee shop there that has walls lined with filled book shelves with different genres and authors. The goat farm is a hidden gem within Atlanta that I would take my friends and family who would want to get a way for the day.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Eric Thompson deserves more than a shout out. He has been the most supportive person in my community and an exceptional significant other. Dianna’s Foods wouldn’t have made as much growth within the last few months without my daily consultation and motivational affirmations from him. Having a person and/or community to support you in your business endeavors is definitely a key component in any successful business.
