We had the good fortune of connecting with Diandre Simms and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diandre, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
In any career you are pursing , to get the best outcome, you are going to have to take a risk. I had no idea what artists I was going to work with , but I knew my knowledge and drive would help my company ‘Simms Entertainment Worldwide ‘ thrive. That was a risk in itself becoming self employed, trusting my instincts to feed me and my artists.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Simms Entertainment Worldwide is a management company that not only understands the business side of the music industry, but we also play a major part in the creativity. Most management these days are 40% fluent in business and understand 0% about their clients vision and creativity. We take pride in helping raise the bar for are artists; that there production is a another level , visuals are top notch where the audience can see instantly there is a difference from their prior work to their new work under Simms Entertainment, and also as we give fans something tangible to follow there favorite artists as we get merch out for people to have something to hold on to along the journey. Our job is no where near easy but when striving for greatness easy isn’t even in the vocabulary, therefore we take pride in helping artists and the brand grow.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would start the day off at Upbeet with a healthy smoothie bowl. Around noon , we have to stop by Busy bee or Paschals , have to get some soul food in our system , that will fill us up for a few hours! I usually enjoy my time skating at Cascade, Golfing at Topgolf, or Putshack; where we can golf , eat and drink all in one.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my first two clients; rappers Finesse and Nogood. They trusted me with the release of their projects which gave me the confidence to keep going after watching the outcome.
