We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Rojas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was honestly taking a big risk! I have always wanted to have my own business and wake up every day doing what I love to do. I love being an Esthetician and helping both men and women feel amazing about themselves. People don’t believe me when I tell them but even just getting your eyebrows done will make a difference and will even boost your confidence. Me taking this big risk also helped with my faith with GOD, I don’t worry because I know GOD is in control and as long as I continue to have faith he will not fail me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Licensed Master Esthetician with over 4 years of experience. Before opening up my business and going solo i have worked at 3 different spas. I started working at a brow studio, then I went to a spa where I did mainly relaxation treatments, then I went to work in a med spa. I have been doing many years of trainings and growing to be where I am today. From each place that I worked in I learned so much and took that knowledge with me. That alone sets me apart from other Estheticians I have taken the time to learn for many years and now being a business owner I am able to take everything I learned and better help my clients reach their goals! Some lessons that I have learned are that not everyone will truly want you to succeed. There is a lot of secret jealousy and people that do not want you to do better than them! From that I have learned that its important to not share much of what you are doing to everyone, move in silence, execute the plan and live happy. This journey has not been easy for me over the past 4 years there has been a lot of stuff happening in my personal life. In the mist of all of this I also went through a very hurtful break up with some one I believed I was going to spend the rest of my life with. At that moment I didn’t have the strength to fully focus on my business so I stayed at the med spa longer than I originally planned. But everything happens for a reason and I can confidently say that, although that happened it needed to so I could be at where I am today with GOD, my business, and personal growth.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Im a dancer! I LOVE going to latin environments where they play a variety of music. One place I enjoy going on some Saturdays is El Valle that place is very classy and they play amazing music we will be on the dance floor dancing until they close! Havana is also another of my favorite places to go dance and have a great time. We would go eat at Rreal Tacos, Palo santo, 9 mile station or anywhere that sells wings lol. We’d check out some restaurants in hotels places because sometimes they have some GREAT drink specials. We would definitely go check out the high end museum, rage room, escape room, or even do a pottery class!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Most definitely my family and my children. They are my biggest motivation and I keep going because of them. I am an immigrant daughter and my mother came here to give me a better life and future. Every decision I have made until now I have always thought about my mother as I want to always make her proud and show her all of her sacrifices are so worth it to me. When I had my children they gave me the motivation and drive to keep going and not stop. As I am watching children grow they are also watching me grow and I want them to see what happens when you keep God first and when you follow your dreams and never give up no matter what others may say you always keep going! Without them and my mothers encouraging words i’m not sure where Diana’s Touch would be.
