We had the good fortune of connecting with Diamond Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Diamond, what’s the most important think you’ve done for your children?
As a new mom, my main goal is to teach my baby to seek out her purpose and never stop pursuing it. Which is the main reason I named her Legacy. I want Legacy to know that no matter what is going on around her, God has a purpose for her life and if she doesn’t give up, it can and will leave a lasting mark on earth. Daily, she gets to see me take care of home, run a business, and pour confidence into others, which is my ministry.
What should our readers know about your business?
For years I have been an entrepreneur in the field of branding. But giving birth to Legacy has led me to start a business in her name, Legacy Reign, in which I educate and inspire others moms and children to let their legacy reign. Especially, during a time like this, it’s important to not grow someone else’s dream without growing your own. Your dream is the one thing no one can take away unless you let them. Right now, I sell educational learning boards that are customized by child’s name, and grade level. I am planning to make my business a one stop shop for educational resources and mentorship..
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am really big on self care and Atlanta has so many gems. To start a relaxing weekend, I would recommend visiting My Sweet Spot ATL. Without giving away the secrets to the experience, just be ready to heal from the INSIDE/OUT. After, maybe have a picnic at Piedmont Park. Hungry? No worries, Piedmont Park is surrounded by several eateries and most days the park is hosting some type of festival. I would close the night in any hotel in midtown, that way you’re in the middle of all the nightlife fun. To close the weekend, I would recommend visiting Auburn Ave. Auburn Ave. is very dear to my heart because I have spent a lot of time in that street between going to school at Georgia State and working. The street holds a lot of history and so picture worthy.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I would like to shoutout God for keeping me grounded. God has led, protected, and provided me the blueprint to my own success. I would also like to shoutout my sisters. I don’t have to name them, they know who they are. My sisters are always there to support and encourage me! I never feel alone in anything I do because of them. Lastly, I would like to shoutout my family for being entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and true gurus in their field. I have no choice but to go hard!
