We had the good fortune of connecting with Demetria Nicole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Demetria, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Podcasting and self care habits have fed my soul to succeed daily. Time and time I have learned, the way I think manifests my future. As result, I engaged in multiple positive habits that strengthen my mind, faith and peace. I enjoy isolating myself, detaching from social media, and any distractions in efforts to clear my mind and regain balance. My favorite podcast is Blessed & Bossed Up by Temia Tatum. Not only have isolation been my major way to remain grounded, but focusing on supplying my Shoetique is truly my sanctuary.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Demi Effect Shoetique is a high fashion women’s shoe boutique established to strengthen and celebrate all women regarding race and size. We proud ourselves on hand selecting each product to encourage and promote our clients to be confident through the latest trends provided by our customer driven shoetique.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a native of Atlanta, I enjoy Peter street and midtown. I am a foodie at heart, I love eating and trying out new and upcoming lounges and restaurants in Atlanta. My all time favorite for a nice vibe and music is the Spinning Pie. I cannot forget about brunch with my love ones.  My go to spot for brunch is Breakfast at Barney’s. But regardless of where I go and what l’m doing, I am going to make the best out of it as long as I have my favorite drink, Crown Apple and coke.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I shout out my clients and customers. They are truly my celebrities. Their constant words of affirmations and gratitude fuel me to continue in entrepreneurship. The reviews and videos sent by my DemiBabes confirms I am upholding the Demi Effect Shoetique’s mission of encouraging and promoting confidence in all women regardless of race or size.
