We had the good fortune of connecting with DeJunae Dominique and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DeJunae, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind all my success is knowing that everything I do and accomplish is to make sure people in front and behind me never have to go through what I went through. Every hurt and pain i experience is so I can successfully show and gave the techniques on how to conqueror without the long process.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like my career is just taking off. Since a child my work ethic has always been above the top. The older I became I took those strong work habits and transferred them into really finding out what my passion is and how I can help people who look more like me. I am most proud of the new release of my book “Free Her”. I wrote that book as an outlet as I was finding my way through one of the hardest and darkness seasons of my life. The lessons I have learned along the way is one Trust and love myself first. Even when I dislike what I see and feel trust that I have all the tools and lessons needed to bring myself out. Also, A lesson is use discernment more often. I want the world to know, there is a brand coming to help wherever is needed. I have so much experience on hurt dealing with loss of babies, failed marriages and rejection that I just want to help the people I will connect with and link with and encourage them to want to be whole and be the light and see them past where they currently are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If One of my friends were to visit the area, I am sure my friends would want to find a church service. If I had to come up with an itinerary, first I would plan to visit all the historic places here in Atlanta. Then we would eat til we could not eat no more, starting with breakfast at Barney’s, for lunch we would eat at Old Lady Gang and for dinner we would probably visit Houstons or Melting Pot and walk all this food off on the BeltLine

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to thank GOD for allowing me to go through and bring me out right in time, Also my mom Yolanda Harris and family. Special shout out to my Pastor (Pastor Chaz Afzal and the TLC church family).
