We had the good fortune of connecting with Dee State and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dee, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
I would say the most important decision would be surrounding myself with a team that had a backbone. Meaning it’s no yes people around me. Teamwork makes the dream work. Having the right people plays a major role.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The thing that was it the views brand part of any other brand would be, I won with the ones who believed in me, I literally made the ones around me bosses. All of my brothers benefit from the Views brand in many ways. Of course this road is an easy I’ve had many obstacles that I had to overcome. The pandemic was probably one of the hardest by far. It most definitely taught me to manage my finances 100 times better.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First I would like to shout out my family for always believing in me pushing me motivating me. Second shot I will be to Coach McGee for giving me the fundamentals the values and shaping my character to become the man that I am today. Young men of excellence was huge for me!! Third should I will be Brian Kramer for always guiding and teaching me the ropes of the industry that I’m in. Biggest what will be the views brothers without these guys I’ll see don’t know where I will be today. Last but not least the guys that I called my brothers for always keeping it 100 with me!!!
