We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Simon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deborah, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
At the end of my career I want to be able to say, I’ve taken risks and they worked out great.

Professionally I want every client I’ve been able to help #makeithome say that “Honestly, Deborah got me into a home/investment that has elevated my life and my family’s life. She was able to help me house the people and mementos I love comfortably and with style.”

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is relatively young, but growing. I am working with people on one of the biggest expenses of their lives and my goal is to first and foremost build trust. My business really has been in the making for the last 30+ years as I have been employed in multiple states, various industries and worked many “jobs”. Becoming an entrepreneur has always been the goal! It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. I pushed through every single setback because I knew I didn’t want to “work” for anyone. I am a giver, helper, encourager and I’ve definitely been taken advantage of, so I vow to always treat people the way I want to be treated. In real estate, there are lots of people that say “I would never do that”. “That” is often tied to money and money is always second to people and so “I do that”.

MISSION

Helping everyone achieve more wealth by purchasing real estate then designing HOMES they love and thrive in!

VISION

To make owning “HOMES” the norm in every community! To create HOMES through beautiful design and efficient organization

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were to come visit me in Georgia, I’d of course take them on some house tours in Atlanta and surrounding areas. There are some amazing homes in College Park, Buckhead, East Point, Douglasville, Fairburn, Griffin, Hampton, Locust Grove, McDonough, Newnan, Peachtree City, Smyrna, Thomaston, Villa Rica and more!!

I make a mean oven baked spare ribs. My lamb chops and salmon are a homerun with friends as well, but then we’d go out to eat at The Real Milk and Honey in East Point, Palmers in Peachtree City, Rays on the River or Rays in the City, FOGO de Chao, Two Urban Licks, The Sundial or Murphy’s in Atlanta. We’d definitely find where the Gaston Street Eats food truck is and eat there a couple of times!

Some other spots we’d hit include The Georgia Aquarium, The Atlanta Botanical Garden, climbing Stone Mountain and then relaxing at Jeju Sauna.
