We had the good fortune of connecting with Dave &Mellissa Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dave &Mellissa, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
By having a fencing and deck company we help and support the community by

Fencing :
1. Safety & Security
2. Allows parents to let their kids go out and play in a safe yard
3. Keeps pets or livestock secure
4 Increases your property value
5. Beautifies Homes/ curb appeal

DECkS
1. Gives homeowners the opportunity to enjoy their backyard living space
2 decks also add value to your home
3 turns a plain backyard into a outdoor oasis

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We’ll my dad was a engineer he kept me busy as a kid helping him with his projects that was where I started . I’m also a Marine which I must say the Corp helped me mature into a hard charging young man . After the Marine Corp I Worked for JC Penny as a carpenter at which I built the wood structures for custom drapes and that’s where I meet my wife . In 1996 I joined the Roofers union in which I became a journeyman Roofer I stayed with the union for 13 years until I started my own roofing company in Cleveland Oh. I ran my own roofing company until January 1 2022 at which I changed my profession and started All Out Construction 1 LLC here in Atlanta Ga. What keeps me going and growing is my work is impeccable and it speaks for itself . But I must say it was not easy the first year was a Roller Coaster I had to learn the business by trial and error . Now that we are in our second year things are smoothing out I’m really looking forward to having a very successful year as well as career. I would like to tell all the future entrepreneurs stay focused on your dreams the world is yours, hard work and dedication will pay off in the future.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had visitors from another city I would bring out my collection of Ebikes and show them the belt line. We could have lunch at Two urban licks or Tacos & tequila. Then we would ride down Edgewood to Dr.Kings Historical site. I think all African Americans should visit here at least once in their life. We would ride Downtown to Cenntinial park and on to Peter St. while on Peter St. I would stop for cocktails at NoMas Cantina. We would catch a live show at City Winery ,St. James live & Uptown comedy club. Breakfast at the Breakfast Boys in College Park and Lunch at Atlanta Fish House.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to fist thank god for blessing me with being creative and crafty, I would like to also thank my Wife and family for being by my side and supporting me through the ups and downs. I also have to shout out my crew for helping me accomplish the completion of the outstanding projects that we have done . And last but not least I would like to thank all the nice customers that believed in me and All Out Construction to handle their backyard projects.!
