We had the good fortune of connecting with Da’sha Rozier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Da’sha, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of the Tastings with D’ brand is passion. I am passionate about bringing a unique bar experience to any and every event. I enjoy utilizing my vibrant and pleasant personality to interact with each client over a freshly squeezed juice or tasty cocktail. Each signature juice or cocktail leaves the guest curious about the fresh taste which is what our brand is all about, providing fresh ingredients. Passion is what got me started and it will keep me going.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Tastings with D’ is a mobile bar experience where we provide fresh juices and tasty cocktails for any special occasion or just for you to enjoy at home. Our services extend beyond the bar as we do provide delivery services.

Operating a business is not an easy job but when you truly love what you do, you are more willing to make the necessary adjustments for improvements. That doesn’t mean you won’t get tested in the business; however, when the test comes, your willpower and determination to succeed outweigh any troubled times. Having a solid foundation in my business is essential because what I am building now is expected to extend into the years to come. My business is based on the values of safety, kindness, and integrity.

The best way to stay in the game is to stay ahead of the game right? Well, I take pride in being a student in the game. I am consistently working to build my knowledge on how to make juices for people dealing with heart conditions or clients who enjoy cocktails but want to skip the hangover experience. It is essential to understand as one of my clients that when you book or order at Tastings with D’ you are seeking a unique bar experience that is sure to exceed your expectations. My love for the craft is what fuels me to provide an amazing experience for you!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best friend is in town and we are ready to explore the city. Our exploration started early so our first stop is going to be to order a fresh juice from Tastings with D’ mobile juice bar to keep us feeling lite and energized. Then we’ll go to the Atlanta Zoo and spend our morning hanging out with the animals. Following the zoo we’ll stop by Fresh Burger and order our lunch. We’ll dine in at the restaurant and after we finished our food, we will walk around outside to explore and burn off that burger and milkshake we devoured. The weather is nice outside so luckily I prepared for us to paint in the park! Our canvas are set up but it is not complete until we include our cocktails made by Tastings with D’ mobile cocktail bar. Together we are enjoying the tasty cocktail while embracing the nature we are surrounded by. Cheers to a perfect day in Atlanta.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am grateful for my support system and how they encourage and uplift me throughout my success. Their kind words and actions never go unnoticed. One of my favorite quotes stated by Edmund Hillary, “It is not the mountain we must conquer but ourselves”. I want to give myself my flowers because many times we (especially me) are going through life filling other people’s cup and we forget to fill our own. I started my business Tastings with D’ unsure of what it’ll bring but I knew I had the vision for it so I pursued it. Was I scared? Yes! However, I refuse to look back on my life wishing and hoping I went after the success I truly desired. Instead, I am going to show up for myself and do the work! My services will bring people together and educate them on different juice products that may benefit their health. I am proud of where I started and how far I have come but I am even more excited about what’s to come. I will continue to allow God to lead my life and business and it’ll all work out for my good!
