We had the good fortune of connecting with Daryl Webb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daryl, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Fatherhood to the Fatherless, Inc. creates a profound social impact by addressing the challenges and consequences of fatherlessness in our community. Our organization focuses on empowering and uplifting African American males of all ages who are navigating life without a father figure, providing them with the tools, support, and resources they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Through initiatives like the Fatherhood Connects Mentorship Program, we match participants with mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and life-skills training, helping them navigate challenges and discover their purpose. Programs like Men’s Care Monday offer virtual empowerment sessions, creating a safe space for men to share experiences, build resilience, and connect with others who share similar journeys. These initiatives foster a sense of belonging and accountability, equipping men with the confidence to overcome obstacles and succeed in their personal and professional lives.

Our work extends beyond individual transformation. By nurturing leaders, role models, and community advocates, we create a ripple effect of positive change that strengthens families, communities, and generations to come. We address the root causes of generational cycles tied to fatherlessness and offer practical, faith-based solutions that instill hope and resilience.

Fatherhood to the Fatherless, Inc. is more than an organization—we are a movement dedicated to healing brokenness, building community, and inspiring purpose. Through our work, we aim to create a world where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and make a meaningful impact.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud to be a father of two beautiful children. For me, the greatest accomplishment is breaking the curse of fatherlessness over my son’s life. There are many forms of fatherlessness, and being present, intentional, and loving for my children is something I hold close to my heart. It’s a blessing to know that my son will never have to endure the pain of growing up without a father figure, and I give God all the glory for allowing me to rewrite that part of my family’s story.

My journey to where I am today has been anything but easy. I’ve experienced homelessness, poverty, lack, and much, much more. These experiences, though painful, were all part of God’s plan to shape me into the person I am today. Through my story, I can relate to so many others who are navigating their own struggles. I’ve learned that suffering is often preparation for a greater purpose, and the lessons God teaches us in the valley equip us to help others rise.

I started in what I like to call “humble beginnings” as a cashier at Taco Bell. Through hard work, determination, and faith, I worked my way up to become a General Manager. That experience laid the foundation for my understanding of leadership, accountability, and team-building. Later, God led me to move to Indianapolis, where I accepted a job as a Team Lead for the Community Health Network. Now, I proudly serve as a Patient Entry Operations Supervisor at Ascension St. Vincent. Each role in leadership and management has been a stepping stone that not only helped me grow professionally but also shaped my mindset and developed the qualities that God had already planted in me. The skills I’ve honed—problem-solving, empathy, effective communication, and decision-making—are all integral to the work I do today, both in my career and through Fatherhood to the Fatherless, Inc.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way are deeply rooted in faith and determination. I’ve learned that pain can produce purpose and that trials refine you for the journey ahead. Staying true to yourself, leaning on God, and embracing the process—even the hard parts—are vital to growth. One of the most powerful lessons is that success isn’t just about personal achievements; it’s about how you impact others and build a legacy that lives on.

What sets me apart is my dedication to serving others and my unwavering commitment to Fatherhood to the Fatherless, Inc., an organization birthed from my personal story of growing up without a father. Our mission is to uplift and empower African American males of all ages, providing them with the tools, mentorship, and faith-driven support they need to heal, grow, and thrive. Through initiatives like our Fatherhood Connects Mentorship Program and Men’s Care Monday, we’re addressing the many forms of fatherlessness and creating spaces where men can find purpose, strength, and community.

What I want the world to know about my story and Fatherhood to the Fatherless is that this work is more than a passion—it’s a calling. Every initiative, every program, and every interaction is rooted in the belief that no one has to face life’s challenges alone. My leadership journey in both corporate and nonprofit spaces has taught me that God equips us with everything we need for His purpose. Leadership isn’t just about titles; it’s about service, stewardship, and helping others become the best version of themselves. My story is proof that God can take the pain of homelessness, poverty, and lack and use it to build something impactful and transformational.

To anyone who resonates with my story, know this: no matter where you start, with faith, hard work, and perseverance, you can rewrite your story and walk boldly into the purpose God has for your life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had the chance to plan a weeklong trip, I’d want it to be a perfect balance of relaxation, self-reflection, and fun. To kick things off, I’d take them to a serene getaway cabin where they could disconnect from the hustle and bustle, reconnect with themselves, and decompress. It’s the ideal way to start fresh, clear their minds, and set the tone for a memorable week.

Once they’re recharged, the fun begins. We’d head out to experience the hidden gems of Indianapolis, starting with a visit to The Vault, a speakeasy known for its cozy, exclusive vibes and incredible craft cocktails. From there, we’d elevate the experience—literally—by visiting Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, a stunning rooftop venue perfect for enjoying drinks, live music, and great company.

For a more casual vibe, we’d make our way to Brothers Bar & Grill or Kilroy’s to soak in the lively atmosphere, grab some good eats, and maybe even catch a game on TV. Of course, we’d balance it out with a peaceful stroll along the downtown Indianapolis Canal Walk. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the scenic views, people-watch, and take in the energy of the city while unwinding from the day.

To wrap things up, we’d head back home to chill, reflect on the adventures, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime. The trip would be all about creating space for personal growth, indulging in the best the city has to offer, and, most importantly, making unforgettable memories.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I want to give all glory and recognition to God. Without His guidance, strength, and unwavering love, none of this would be possible. He has been my constant source of inspiration and the foundation upon which I’ve built everything. Through every challenge and every triumph, God has shown me the path and given me the courage to walk it.

I also want to dedicate a heartfelt shoutout to my mother. She has been my rock, my encourager, and my biggest supporter throughout my journey. My mother taught me the true meaning of love, faith, and family. She instilled in me the importance of being true to myself and loving others as I would love myself. Her wisdom, strength, and unconditional love have shaped the person I am today, and her example continues to inspire me to pour into others with kindness and authenticity. I’m forever grateful for the role she’s played in my life and my story.
