We had the good fortune of connecting with Darnel Harper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Darnel, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson of our business is understanding that all business is not always good business. We come together to determine which deals are beneficial for both parties. A few ways consist of discussing their ideas and understanding their goals. At this point, we can choose if we should close a deal with a company or respectfully decline.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our art keeps us busy, of course, because it is unique, exquisite, and simple. Our work was not made to boast, but more so be proud of the fact that creativity should not be compared—simply appreciated. D-Arts IND. gained notoriety by refusing to be lazy (sometimes) to associate with different artists and businesses. It’s easy to tell people we are visual artists, but we are also video/music producers, web/graphic designers, and photographers. We overcame various challenges by being active on social media, creating business cards to pass around to people who might be looking for a potential artist, and constantly improving our skills for our brand.
