We had the good fortune of connecting with Dante Patterson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dante, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was about helping and educating guys about the beard process. Being able to provide a quality product that can be beneficial to what they are trying to achieve.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me aside from everyone else is my will to succeed. I strive to be the best and provide the best. The way my customers feel about my product is extremely important to me. It’s personal for me because my name is attached to it. It wasn’t easy because starting I had my doubts but that’s because I wanted everybody to like my product so much and that gave me a bit of anxiety. I have been researching this subject for years and I knew I had a good product I just wanted the world to know it too.. If I can take any lessons from starting this business I would say trust yourself and trust your product. I want the world to know that BRUH GENTLEMEN BEARD and HAIR COLLECTION is the truth and we aim to please.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m not really a club person anymore so I would say hit a nice lounge or sports bar for some wings and drinks, maybe shoot some pool and just vibe out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely want to shout out and thank my team. My beautiful wife Sanjay Patterson. She has been such a big part of my company, I definitely would not be where I am in the company without her period! My sister in law Raneisha Toombs, thank you pushing me off the porch to get BRUH started, we go back and forth but you are truly a business genius and you have a heart of gold.
My fellas Ben O, Ben W (my first Grand Ambassador), Kevin and Mike and Markel, Thank you guys for being the first to sample my product, you guys didn’t have to do that but you believed in me and said yes. Much appreciated brothers!
