We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniela Sofia Bragagnolo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniela Sofia, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
The end goal is to be Legend. I humbly, like to consider myself a legend in the making. By the end of my career I want to have inspired others to blindly believe in themselves. I want my purpose to be fulfilled, I want people to know that no matter how much pain and trauma life puts you through you can always be the alchemist of your own life. Turn pain into something beautiful. Pain doesn’t have to stop you or be horrible, pain is what gives birth to hope, hope that with love and passion you can overcome anything, and that in itself is beautiful. I want people to listen to my music and feel it, dance it, enjoy it. I want people to emerge themselves in my art and find themselves, relate to it and use it as a source of inspiration. Even though I made mistakes and my life hasn’t been perfect, I want to grow and better myself to be the best role model possible for young woman out there.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I see my whole life as a big show. My art is about turning everything in my life into entertainment. When I call myself “The Crazy Latina” this is the reason why, I could admit that it is true, I am pretty “crazy”. My life has been a rollercoaster with lots of adventures and trauma, and it is art the reason I can deal with it all, it’s my catharsis. They say that every great artist is insane, I hope to fall in that category to the public, I personally think I do. As to what I’m most proud of, is my determination, my obsessive work ethic, and my undying passion. It’s thanks to this that I’ve gotten this far, I’ve managed to build a community of over 7.4 million people and fans worldwide by turning my everyday life into a tiktok reality show, I build myself from nothing, no connections in the industry, when in all honesty, nepitism is a plague that seems to keep getting bigger and overshadowing amazing talent that is out there. I had to be extremely creative and ask myself “how can I make this happen? how can I build value for my brand and my art so that the industry comes to me?” And I realized it was way more than just music, I had to give people a story. Luckily life gave me a lot of content. It wasn’t easy, and my way of overcoming the challenges was by turning each one of them into a work of art. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to think like Napoleon, it’s to be the biggest opportunist and use caos as the strategy to my success. I find opportunity even in my darkest moments by turning them into something that benefits my career, I don’t believe in in mistakes, I believe in lessons. And lessons are an opportunity for growth. As for what I want the world to know about my story, is that even when your heart is full of scars, you should not feel shame for them. You have to give yourself compassion and love yourself to understand you are worthy of happiness and love, you are worthy of making all your dreams come true. We didn’t come to this life to be perfect, things don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. But we did come to be brave, to let go of shame and leave something meaningful in this world. I know I’m here to share my story and inspire others to love themselves and believe in themselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I was born in Atlanta, but I’m currently in Argentina, so I would start by taking them to a parrilla in my hood, nothing fancy, you want the real stuff, made by gauchos, Then we would go to Buenos Aires, watch some tango, do a tour in the Colon Theatre and head to Plaza Serrano for some drinks. When it comes to Argentina I think the most interesting and fun thing to do it to feel the people, this is the most passionate country in the world, I’ve never seen people so insane in my life. Definitely a soccer game would be where we would want to go to really have this experience. I got here right before they won the World Cup, so I got to experience the streets of this city when that happened. I’ll never have enough words to explain the euphoria that was in the air. It’s a feeling everyone should feel at least once, the Argentinian passion.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to Raxx, my dear friend which thanks to her I’m doing this interview right now. In a world where woman are constantly put against each other, specially in our industry, it’s truly a blessing to know a woman who hasn’t fallen into those patriarcal norms and is out there supporting others.
