Meet Daniel Thomoson | Digital Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Thomoson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniel, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At Black King Creations we help the development of our community by assisting small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. A company’s logo is the face of that company’s brand to the world. And company owners of all sizes will tell you their company brand is one of the most precious company assets they posses. At BKC we work intimately with company owners to develop a customized logo that perfectly encompasses the brand, mission and culture of our clients company. We understand that our clients are passionate about their companies and we ensure that passion is manifested in their logos. We help entrepreneurs looking to start a business get off the ground by provide a milestone element. A company logo that is the exact image of their vision for their company.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My personal art pieces are a manifestation of what inspires me, how I’m feeling and music. I believe what sets me apart from others in the digital art industry is the diversity of my portfolio. I am not just simply a niche artist. I have completed heavy realistic commissioned art pieces for clients. As well as animated children’s book illustration and the gambit in between. I love the satisfaction that each of my clients receives once the project is complete and we have accurately brought their vision(s) to life. It was not a easy road to get to the position I I am in now. It was countless hours of dedicated self-discipline to maintain the course. A self confidence that the work I put in would reap the rewards I desired. Many nights and weekends of working on BKC content while maintaining a traditional career. If there is one message I would like the world to know about the BKC brand. It would be BKC is all about passion, professionalism and vision manifestation.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In my opinion the best Atlanta experience trip would consist of the following. Catching a professional sporting event Hawks, Falcons or Braves. The fan environment, especially when one of our teams are doing well, is unmatched by anywhere in the country. A visit to one of my favorite live music venues, Kat’s Café is a must. The desserts and ambiance at Café Intermezzo is some of the best in the city. And no Atlanta visit would be complete with out eating at the Varsity, Busy Bee Cafe, Atlanta Fish Market and The Vortex. The experience of enjoying the Sweet Auburn festival is another can’t miss event.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother was instrumental in the development of my passion and skill in art. From some of my most earliest memories I can recall countless examples of my mother fostering and encouraging my talents. From getting my signed up for animation instructional camps when I was younger. To encouraging me to use my passion for drawing to create BKC.
