We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create my own lane. Some people are meant to lead, and others are meant to follow. Creating my own path and journey has always been important to me. We all have a purpose it is up to us to figure out what that purpose is. Once I was old enough to make decisions for my life, I knew everything I did I wanted it to be different from what everyone else did. I don’t like following what is popular and doing what everyone else is doing. Starting your own business is not for the weak. One must be strong and be willing to fail before succeeding. I love being willing to do what most will only dream about or talk about. Starting my own business was only the beginning of my journey.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

CVM, LLC started with me. I turned myself into a business using my initials CVM, a single member LLC business. However, CVM has grown and transformed into a consulting firm which is the parent company for several different small businesses. CVM, LLC  now represents and stands for Change, Vision, & Manifest.  One cannot not grow without change.  Clear vision is necessary to see what path you need to take in life.  Build enough faith to manifest a life of peace and joy.

CVM holds Publishing rights to Candace is Safe a children’s book.  I wrote this book primarily for kids in foster care to give them a voice and help them feel safe going to live with a complete stranger.  As a veteran foster parent this book was created from real life experiences.

CVM Designs is an interior decorating service which provides consulting, design, construction, and staging for residential and commercial spaces.  We can give basic decorating tips, decorate a small space, or design and stage a brand new home.

CND Notary is mobile notary public service which services the Atlanta Metro Area for all Notary Services. Certified through the National Notary Association as a Notary Signing Agent we are available for all real estate closings. We also offer courier services for important legal documents and contracts that need to be delivered in a secure and timely manner.

Certified as a WOSB with the SBA to accept government contracts on Federal, State, and Local level. CVM, LLC started out as just me creating my own lane to work for myself. Now CVM has grown and transformed into so much more.

Do not let anyone or anything stop you from finding and following your path. Stay away from places, people, and things  who do not support you and glow you up. Walk in your own lane. Walk in your purpose and manifest whatever you see yourself doing. Be willing to change for the better.  Let go of what you cannot do and thrive on what you can do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

My best friend Dana Warren. She has been my support system, my right hand, editor, consultant and so much more. She is an amazing person who has supported all my business ventures and pushed me to keep going. When I wrote my first book she supported me and made me feel like it should be listed on NY Times Best Seller list. When I revised the book and wanted to give up she pushed me to keep going and don’t stop.

When deadlines need to be met, documents revised, emails sent, and phone calls made, my bestie is always on me to see things thru. She goes hard for friends and family. She is loyal like no other. Having her on my team is a priceless asset that money can’t buy. She is a phenomenal woman that had four beautiful children and raised them all by herself. She is a one of kind that I cherish dearly and hope I never take for granted. She has been there from the beginning and still here.  I dedicate this shoutout to her.
