We had the good fortune of connecting with Cory R and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cory, what are you inspired by?
All my life I’ve been inspired by art. Something my mother passed on to me in many forms whether it’s film, music or photography. It’s something that allows us to be more than who we are.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
This brand is something that will make everybody feel at home I just want you to know that first hand. For “outsiders” that can’t relate will soon understand as well that this will be a new world for us entirely. To answer your question honestly… this road is not easy not one bit but you will get to where you want to be if you “Believe & Achieve”. One hard lesson I’ve learned is to not quit, you have no one but yourself and only “YOU” can stop you from getting there. Only thing I want you to know is that it’s okay to lose but no matter what you keep moving forward.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well I’m still new to this city but if I would have to choose it would be either 13th Riverside to see the lake or it would be the downtown bridge in Nashville. I choose those 2 locations because it’s a boathouse restaurant nearby and in downtown you can see the bridge light up at night.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I actually have a lot of people to thank. It’s been doors opened for me and I’m very grateful so first shout out to Michael Jackson, coming from the “North” he was my biggest inspiration. My music, my dancing all comes from his spirit. Shout out Riverside I love my team and the people who helped it become what it is. It’s an amazing feeling to bring people together and to heal. I do plan on showing more of my appreciation with this project I’m working on(just can’t spoil too much). Love you all
