We had the good fortune of connecting with Cortne’ Lee Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cortne’, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Authenticity & Transparency contributes to the success of the brand. My brand gives me the ability to show up as the real Cortne’ Lee Smith and share who I am and what I go through. I allow people into an unscripted & unrehearsed version of me. On this journey, people see the pain that pushed me into my ministry marketplace. Most importantly, those that choose to engage & interact with the brand have a front-row seat to witness the evolution of me walking and talking out the strategies that I share for others to have their best relationships. Ultimately the brand is a testimony that no circumstance or situation should keep you from achieving your desired outcome. That is why I continue to share my story.
What should our readers know about your business?
The Relationship Service Station is a full-service shop that provides tools to help you have your best relationship journey. Onsite is a social media marketplace where you can pick up strategies to fill up your mind, body, and soul. Take a moment to pull into a relationship mechanics bay to receive a coaching formula that will help you achieve positive progress with relationship death (divorce, separation, job loss, financial loss, evictions/foreclosures). The media ministry radio, TV, magazines, books that produced gives us a voice internationally to extend our reach to impact unlimited lives even after our existence. The biggest lesson I want to share with the world is grieving or experiencing a loss is that; Grief Will Grow You when you decide to implement the 4 R’s ( Release-Rediscover-Reinvent-
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since we are amid social distancing restrictions, we would experience the city differently. Every morning we would keep the meal simple and stress-free. Step outside to the greenhouse and create some smoothies to kick our day off in the right way. Right on time for our virtual tour Field Trip, Fridays 10 am apart of the ATL Museums at home. Planned our lunches for the next six days provided by Everything Meal Prep n’ Catering; so that less time is spent in the kitchen. Search for some Facebook Marketplace treasures to update my or bestie homes. Friday Night hubby gets in we head to the Starlight Drive-In to catch a 7:30 and 9:40 show do a curbside pickup from No Mas Catina. Our Saturday plans attend a Drive-In Concerts series while binging on popcorn from the Popcorn Depot with hot dogs from The Original Hot Dog Factory Downtown. Sunday, join a Virtual or Live service at RainFire return home for a Sunday Supper with a few family members and our mutual friends. Then gather to play a few yard games until dusk. Monday, treat ourselves to mobile massages by SJB Massages; then lounge around catching up on whatever book we are determined to complete for the week. Dinner leftovers on tap. Tuesday, take advantage of the extra hands; play in the dirt in the greenhouse, and spend a little time in the kitchen freezing and canning foods. Dinner calls for salad creations from the greenhouse. Wednesday, my favorite mobile Mani/Pedi lady comes to get our hands back on point Phenomenal Phalanges. Plus, I have a standing hair appointment with Cedrick Dubois which we both get done up. Since our hands and heads get pampered then; we call in The Beauti Therapist to get our faces snatched. An evening of impromptu photos blowing up our social media timeline with usies. Have us a good Seafood Boil with homemade Sangria to celebrate our last night. Thursday, breakfast grabbing a few eggs from the chicken house for omelets to eat now, and prep some quiches for me and bestie for later. Before goodbyes, create new photo books cleaning out our phones, and dumping cameras memory cards of photos captured during our short time together.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The success of the Cortne’ Lee Smith is because of God firstly, but here on earth, he allowed me to have #loveafterlove in my husband, Fulton Michael Smith. He stands behind me to continue pushing and encouraging me on this entrepreneurial journey then; there other times he is on my side holding me accountable so; I do not give up. Also, there are times he runs on ahead to pull me through the things that would have thrown me off course. When I grow tired, he carries me and covers me with God’s word, and times in the natural physically he has carried me. He is the brawn “our little inside joke” (strength) of our relationship. Fulton is the reason I am always able to show up for myself and able to serve others. However, I can’t forget Cedrick Dubois Lee; who never allows me to look like what I am going through or been through my stylists from my head to my toes and my firstborn son.
