We had the good fortune of connecting with Connor King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Connor, how do you think about risk?
Risk is crucial if you want to do big things. Without risk, things things will always be a little mellow. I am someone who loves taking risks, but only calculated risks. For example, risk taking has played a huge role in our company, but it wasn’t always like that. We set a goal for ourselves to save up 6 months of expenses in cash before we began to take big risks. Now that we know we have that cushion to fall back on, we are able to take many risks because in the event the worst case scenario happens our company will be alright. Now it is just a matter of time before some of our big risks payoff and propel us to the next level of business. If you want to do great things, you have to take risks, but you need to be smart about it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our company purpose is to be faithful stewards of our resources to enable us to grow and impact others. With that, we focus specifically on helping people thrive through the power of business. We work hard everyday for these reasons. Right now it can be tough for us to balance so many different business models, but we are in the process of delegating and elevating all our company brands. We currently have three main branches we utilize, a wedding video branch, a commercial video branch, and a real estate investing branch. We have plans for many more in the future, but these three are our focus at the moment. We have had numerous challenges along the way, but with each challenge we get more experienced in the business world, so ultimately we embrace any challenges or failures that come our way. We are always seeking to grow our company that way we can have an even bigger impact on this world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would drive down highway 280, grab a burger at Jack Browns then take it back to our house to eat at while we watch a good movie and hangout with friends. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are a few people groups that come to mind when thinking about our companies success. First up is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he is the sole reason our company is where it is at today. Second up is all of our parents. We are a very young company and our parents have always been very encouraging and supportive of our endeavors. Thirdly, we have amazing family friends that instill their wisdom into us and let us many questions to so that we can mitigate as many mistakes as possible. Finally, we have learned a lot of business knowledge and principles from the following books and organizations: EOS, Gino Wickman, Ramsey Solutions, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, Rory Vaden, Michael Hyatt’s Full Focus Planner, and Gary Keller
