We had the good fortune of connecting with Colton Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Colton, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart, I love the challenge of building something from the ground floor and that’s exactly what I did. I read a empowering quote the other day and it really Resinated with me “there were no opportunities for us, so we made them” this particular quote is so true in the work force and just life in general. Paving a way for opportunity was the biggest thought process I had when starting Prysm Talent Agency
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Prysm Talent Agency started at the brink of the pandemic (November 2019) that being said, representing artists through the pandemic was no easy task as the music industry was at a standstill. My team and I took that time to hone in on our operations perfecting the perfect system. Fast forward 3 years and we’re now representing over 150 artists internationally, and on track to do over 1,000 shows globally.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My grandfather Edward Freeman is who paved the way for me. I owe a lot of my success to him. He’s someone I’ve always looked up to and always respected his words of encouragement and criticism.
