We had the good fortune of connecting with Coach Zen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Coach, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
I encourage anybody who reads this to explore working with a coach. A coach’s aim is to guide and support you to live in your full potential so you can expand into the more of yourself because you are the driver of your life, you are the power, and you hold the key. We support you through every aspect of your life. Life coaching is forward focused, powerful, and transformative. Work with a coach that is certified and has a mentor/guide. Coaches get you there because we have been there too. Both coaching and therapy are conducive, it all depends on the professional that is more suited for you and your desired outcome.

What should our readers know about your business?

Novi Brown, Kevin Walton, and Anthony Dalton from Tyler Perry’s Sistas on BET and Psychotherapist and Life Coach Michelle Chalfant the Creator and Host of The Adult Chair Podcast.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is known for the best brunch spots so first we would start there for sure. Next, we would go to The Healing Environment which is a beautiful gem in “Ivy Walk” located in Smyrna, GA designed to empower people with teachings to build the mind, body and soul and is committed to personal growth using methods that promote a greater awareness of holistic healing, self-actualization, and an overall healthy lifestyle. Then we would head to a Braves game and eat dinner at “The Battery” for sure or the Botanical Gardens. A Divine fulfilling evening that nourishes our mind, body, spirit, and fun.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Traumas that I and my mother has experienced that led me to guide and provide support to others in their journey. My mentor Michelle Chalfant creator of the “Adult Chair Podcast” and mentor Kevin Walton creator of the “Light Beings Ministry” for guiding me and supporting me in expanding into the more of myself so that I can guide and support others in doing the same in integrity. I would also want to thank Novi Brown who has truly blessed me and provided me with insights to get out of my own way and to my love of my life so supporting me through my shadow moments.
