We had the good fortune of connecting with Coach Felisha J and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Coach Felisha, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Heal Your Story Enterprises was born from a personal journey of overcoming adversity and a deep understanding of the need to address the root cause of hurt. We seek to provide healing, not just through teaching and sharing, but by fostering a sense of hope, joy, and love.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Heal Your Story Enterprises was established to address an important issue that is often overlooked in our society: the healing process after experiencing hurtful events like divorce, abuse of any kind, loss of loved ones and more. Through my work in the nonprofit industry, I have encountered numerous individuals who have gone through difficult experiences, including myself. It became apparent to me that there was a lack of safe support and resources for individuals to properly heal and move forward in a healthy way. This realization led me to create Heal Your Story Enterprises, with the mission to help people rebuild their lives after hurtful events.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you’re planning a trip to the gorgeous southwest Florida, let me give you the ultimate week-long itinerary. I am between the county lines of Fort Lauderdale and Miami, I get the best of both worlds. Water lovers should definitely not miss out on Oleta River, Hollywood Beach, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and Haulover Beach. These destinations are simply paradise for beach lovers, offering an array of water sports, or just a peaceful spot to soak up the sun.

Foodies are in for a treat with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Upperdeck, Icebox Cafe, Flashback Diner, and Yardhouse are a few among many. For Italian food lovers, there’s Frank’s Italian Restaurant serving delectable pasta and the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store for a unique food-shopping experience. For the seafood fanatics, than Crafty Crab and Rustic Inn Crabhouse offer mouth-watering dishes that will leave you craving for more.

In case you’re craving for diverse cultural foods and authentic Haitian cuisine at Jenny’s – I promise you it’s the best you’ll ever have! Visit Dunn’s River Island Cafe at Hallandale Beach for lip-smacking Jamaican food, and Guira & Tambora Latin Cuisine for an irresistible Latin feast.
