Meet Cleo Ravariere: Founder & CEO of Mia Lueur: Organic Skin Support

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cleo Ravariere and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cleo, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is my passion and personal skin care testimony. Starting my skin care line was a tangible way for me to share my healing with those who lost hope in having clear glowing skin. When customers hear my story and see my passion, they see hope, and an opportunity to get on their journey to higher self confidence and glowing skin. The products then speaks for itself, through results, and customers then go on to tell more potential customers. Mia Lueur have gained great success because of these specific factors. 

What should our readers know about your business?
I officially launched my Skin Care Line, Mia Lueur: Organic Skin Support, August 22.2020. As a self love coach/advocate, and someone that struggled with low self confidence and low self esteem, due to the skin disorder I had, I decided to share my self love story and skin care story in a tangible way. I didn’t want to limit Mia Lueur to just skin remedies, we are way more than that. We have created an environment and space where customers are able to be vulnerable about their skin struggles and self love struggles, and are able to share their self love journey, while constantly glowing and growing. Mia Lueur is Italian and French which translates to English as “My Glow”. That’s what really sets Mia Lueur apart. I suffered with skin disorders for 15 years of my childhood and it really destroyed how I viewed myself. The dermatologists solutions were not helping, it was just a constant battle and I kept on losing. My parents then took it upon themselves to find a way to heal my issues. I grew up in the Virgin Islands, so getting fresh aloe, and other plant based healing properties were right in our backyard. Those plant based remedies healed me, and you can’t really tell I was even riddled with skin issues! After 12 years of being healed and sharing the extensive knowledge I know about skin care, I started realizing there were many people who have been struggling with the same issues I struggled with for 15 plus years, and I can be a source of hope! I decided to place my self love story into formulas and create something tangible for those who have lost hope in the healing of their skin. I’m mostly proud of the results my customers have been getting, and seeing them go from “I hate my skin” to “OMG I AM GLOWING”, “My skin is so even now”, “My hyperpigmentation is gone”, and “I’m falling in love with myself!” really brings me joy. This is the goal, this is what I want Mia Lueur to give my customers, and it’s giving just that! It Makes me extremely proud. I’m really excited about some of the future plans we have for the brand. This spring we will be launching a few more products customers have been waiting for. Reaching yo this point, business wise, was actually easier than I thought, which makes me realize that this truly is my purpose and calling! I’m not saying there aren’t challenges, because there are. However, the challenges aren’t as big as I probably expected them to be. I experience different types of challenges within my business all the time, but the challenges are never something I can’t work around. Being driven by purpose instead of the dollar sign also makes it a lot easier for me to maneuver through those challenges! Challenges are inevitable, you just have to challenge the challenges and keep stepping forward. Mia Lueur: Organic Skin Support is a plant based luxury skin care line, that empowers men and women to achieve the best skin of their lives. The skin care line was created by me, as a tangible way to share my healing with others who have suffered with skin ailments, and have lacked confidence and self love due to their skin ailments. All of our products are handmade with ingredients from Egypt, Pakistan, Morocco, and the Virgin Islands! Mia Lueur is not only here to sell skin care, but to also educate others about the importance of caring for their skin, inspire, and encourage others to love themselves! It’s a lifestyle; empowering others to glow internally and externally!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
An itinerary for my best friend if they visited would like: Food Spots- Divan, Hattie B’s, Negril, South City Kitchen, Food Terminal, La Fonda, Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft, Ray’s On The River, Flip Flip Burger Boutique, Cafe Sunflower, Cultivate Food and Coffee, Botiwalla, Hops Chicken, and Ponko’s. Hang Out Spots- Andretti, Top Golf, High Museum of Art, Georgia Aquarium, The Botanical Garden, and Krog Street Markst.  Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Firstly, I would like to thank my parents, for introducing me and my skin to plant based healing. My parents took it upon themselves to find a way to relieve me of my skin disorders through healing plants in our backyard. Without them, I would have no knowledge about plant based skin healing. Also, AliciaDion Beauty, LLC here in Atlanta, GA really took me under their wing for skin mentorship! The owner Alicia, encouraged, motivated, and inspired me to start my own skin care line. She educated me so much on the detailed scientific parts of the skin, and I can’t thank her enough.
