We had the good fortune of connecting with Clarence Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clarence, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to help people feel better. I wanted them to feel like I felt or better.

What should our readers know about your business?
From a sickness to a business.

My story started back in 2007.
I was very active before 2007. I loved working in the yard and cleaning my cars every weekend. But all that stopped all of a sudden. A lot of tragic events happen my past that got me in a deep depression. I really didn’t know that I was until about 3 years had passed. When I realized that I was depressed. I was embarrassed to tell anyone. People notice that I was different but didn’t say anything. I would not go anywhere but work, church, home. I stop cutting my own yard and cleaning my cars. I would just sit in my room or lay in the bed. So one day I told a co worker about my problem. Just so happens he had this machine that he used on his son that have autism. He told me that it can help with depression. So I said that I would try it. So one morning he came to my house after we got off working night shift. It was about 8am when he hooked me up to the machine. By 8:30 am I was done. I felt good but a little drained. So he left and I hit the shower and fell asleep. I woke up about 45min later and I swear I was another person. It was the best feeling in the world. I just wanted to tell someone how good I felt. But no one was home but me. So I couldn’t be still. Did not know what to do with myself. So I left the house and went to the bike trail and rented a bike to ride for a hour. So I said to myself that I will ride 30min out and turn around and come back. So I did. But when I looked at my phone and saw that I had been riding for 30min I was about to turn around until I saw the 5 mile marker a few yards away. So I hit it and turned around and headed back. I made it with 5 minutes left. After that I still was full of energy. So I went home and cut the grass and washed my cars. Then went and pick up the kids from school and cooked dinner. Went to bed then went back to work. When I got off the next morning I went back to the bike trail and did 10 miles again. I wanted everyone to feel like I did so I started detoxing everyone in my family. They all were feel better so one of them said that I should charge for my services. So that is what I did and 11 years later I have a thriving business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
1st day we would go to King claw and get some seafood. 2nd day check out the river walk and eateries.. 3rd day hit up some live music at some bars. 4th day hit the casino. 5th day go hiking. 6th day go zip lining. 7th day hang out with family and friends
