Meet Cindy Rand | Visionary

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Rand and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cindy, what do you want people to remember about you?
As I ponder this question, I think of all the arenas I have been so fortunate to be a part of…my earnest prayer would be that the people I met over the years remember the good that I did or attempted to do when I met them… be it greeting them smile, a word of encouragement, resources, sharing the hurt of my failures – the joy of my triumphs, or my labor of love throughout the homeless communities, just remember the good and my heart to do even more good. I would hope that my legacy would make my grandchildren and their generations to come super proud to be a part of my lineage; knowing that though I was afraid many times, I led with love, courage and hope.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wellness by Envision (WE Spas for short) is a non-surgical Holistic Body Boutique that specializes in unisex Body Sculpting & Organic Body Care that results in fat reduction in a targeted area.
Our goal with our clients is to offer a holistic, all natural approach to their body concerns, at times coupled with the use of noninvasive science to aid them in meeting their body goals. We use organic products, provide all natural remedies and/or resources when necessary; just as ‘Mother Nature Intended’. We encourage our clients not to be so hard on themselves but to know that with consistency they can reach their goal if they begin their first day subtly making lifestyle changes that will enable them to be well from the inside out.
In all honesty, we get just as excited for our clients’ results as they do! It’s like we take it personally – in a literal sense because we genuinely want them to succeed and be happy ![]()
My journey as an entrepreneur has been anything but easy, Ha! I have definitely had my more than fair share of failures… and have celebrated a few of what I call successes.
Back in the late 90’s ha-ha – while enduring long hours during my ‘first career’ as an Accountant in Corporate America
I one day had an epiphany while then looking at my young daughter go off to school…my thoughts were so overwhelming at the fact that in less than ten years she would be an adult and all I could say at that time was that we’d spent most of our time working (me) and going to school (her). I wanted to seize the precious time we still had together under one roof to make special memories with her, enjoying LIFE besides just on a holiday; and the only way I knew of to do that was to make some changes in what took up most of my time (work). In 99’ I made the decision to invest in myself and start my first official business which was a Dollar Store
. Over the course of years I have opened, sold and operated several businesses and to this day have multiples but I realized one day that each business I’ve opened over the years all had one common denominator: Service (helping people) in one way or the other and that is what I enjoy the most – Acts of Servitude. I overcame many challenges because I am a person that has strong faith; I am very optimistic, persistent and never complacent. I’m what is now called a “Free Spirit; a firm believer of ‘No risk- No rewards’, so I continuously push forward regardless of the circumstance(s) while striving to learn from any mistakes made and make each day better than the day before.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Believe it or not, I am a simple person, It generally doesn’t take a lot to make me happy…I enjoy Live Bands/Music (I’m eclectic so I love all music genres as I still believe music comes from the soul of the artist) As far as food venues and places to go: I enjoy anywhere they’ve got good Salmon and peaceful strolls in clean parks to work off the food I just ate! ![]()

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My immediate family…I smile again to myself because I think of all the times when sharing my creative expressions left them with just a “pause in thought!” yet, they still encouraged me to follow my heart and never shot down my ideas – so I am eternally grateful for that.
