Meet Christle Murphy | Declutter Expert & Organizer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christle Murphy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christle, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks requires faith. You have to believe in your gift and take actionable steps to reach your goals.
Taking risks in my life/career has only strengthened my faith. Once I take the risk I am always glad that I did. I may have initial trepidation about the risk but I take the risk anyway and it’s always worth it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a declutter expert & organizer. I am the owner of Squated Away Organizing LLC. I help clients declutter & organize their home and work spaces. What sets me apart is having keen discernment when working with clients and being able to adapt to each client needs, each client is different, some clients are more emotionally attached to their items than others, and I have to be able to discern that and work with the client based on their personality and needs.
I am most proud of the fact that I took a leap of faith and started my own organizing business. I am most excited about the opportunities that await me in the future.
I got to where I am today business- wise by believing in myself and putting action behind my words. No, it was not easy, I overcame the challenges by writing my goals down on paper and setting a date on when it should be complete; I held myself accountable and never gave up.
The lessons that I’ve learned along the way are; words are powerful, speak words of affirmation over your goals/desires then take actionable steps to achieve them. Also, don’t allow anything or anyone to distract you from your purpose, stay focus, if you fall it’s ok just get up, take a deep breath and try again.
I would like the world to know that faith mixed with action can move mountains. As I stated earlier words are powerful, speak life over your life. I am the product of teenage parents from the south side of Chicago who didn’t have much growing up but I always knew and believed that it’s not where you come from that matters but who and what you become, I make no apologies for the light that’s within me, and as I continue to go through this journey called life I’ll continue to shine bright like a diamond and inspire others along the way.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Great question, I would start by going to a restaurant that has vegan options because I’m vegan. One of my favorites here in Atlanta is Tru Kitchen (it’s not a vegan restaurant but has vegan options). The food and atmosphere is great!!
Speaking of vegan, one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Atlanta/Buckhead is Cafe Sunflower, staff & food are great as well.
The next stop would likely be Top-Golf and/or iFly Atlanta (indoor sky diving).
Shopping at SugarLoaf Mills Mall and/or Mall of Georgia.
Andretti’s Atlanta (Indoor Arcade/Karting).
Kat’s Cafe (live band, spoken- word artist and singers).
I love going to Piedmont Park during the spring/summer months. I love history so I’d likely include visiting a local history museum. This is what makes Atlanta a great city, there is something for everyone.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Firstly, I thank my heavenly Father for each blessing in my life. Secondly, I thank my family & friends who believed in me and continue to encourage me on this amazing journey. Last but not least, I thank my career coach & mentor Katherine Lawrence of My Space Matters LLC. for all of the knowledge & wisdom that I’ve gained by first being a student of my field and now leader.
