We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Barnett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
As a marketer my focus is in creative & affiliate marketing. In the industry of marketing many are NOT aware that it’s more to it than getting brands visibility. It’s actually an industry that anyone can tap into to make additional income by leveraging their lifestyle. In the industry of affiliate marketing to be exact so many are making additional income. Many are not aware that when you assess your lifestyle and ask yourself “what do I do daily that I can leverage?” You’ll start to see that It’s so many things you can monetize and collect cash. Brands are paying people to market for them moving away from the old school marketing structures. This is why I teach female entrepreneurs to work on their personal development and leverage it to make money while creating the life they deserve. It’s the best of both worlds. I want the world to know more about this so more people can win. Monetization is really the new luxury of life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My brand is called Chrissy Couture. I started this business in 2021 which was a rebrand of a brand I started in 2017. I help female entrepreneur master the relationship with themselves in order to grow within the three major areas of life which is Self-care, Finances, and Family. Many entrepreneurs think their brand is not elevating because their need better products, branding, or marketing. All of that may be true however you can’t build a executed brand without mastering purpose. The one thing that sets me apart from other marketing coaches in the creative & affiliate marketing industry is I teach entrepreneurs how to market in purpose. For years I hustled and made money but I felt empty. I was constantly feeling stuck in my brand and overall life. It clicked that I can’t move forward until I elevate within. This made me focus on the relationship with myself and what I needed to work on. This allowed me to grow within and build a six figure brand while beating depression. I’m most proud of the lives I’ve helped do the same. I have a community called Purpose Marketers. I teach them how to work on themselves while leveraging the things they need to grow. This has allowed me to help over 100 women in two years build more confidence within themselves. Not only that some are now mentally and physically stronger running successful purpose driven brands. I owe this all to God! My story became my testimony to help other win with me. Being a full time entrepreneur leading a community of over 200 women as of today hasn’t been easy. My brand was all over the place at one point and I wasn’t making money. I had many challenges within my health and family that would’ve made anyone quit. I’ve had betrayals from ppl I loved and taken major loss financially. The journey has been far from easy. It changed when I added God to the plan and put my personal development first. I also started to work on my own speed and not compare myself to others. I created my own lane and went and found my way. This worked well for me and I’m sure it will work for others as well. I want the world to know my name one day. I don’t want to be famous I want to be known for leading with love. We live in a world where everyone is chasing the bag and it’s a lot of ill intent behind the things people do to help others. I want Chrissy Couture to be a brand that help others win without expecting anything in return. I want my brand to become a healing hub for female entrepreneurs looking to grow within while growing in purpose. I knew how hard it was to find a tribe of women to genuinely support me. I want to be known for creating that tribe for female entrepreneurs that stuck mentally, physically, and financially like I was once and give them the tools they need to grow.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So, if my bestfriend came to visit me we would more than likely want to relax! We are both moms, she’s a wife, and we both are entrepreneurs. I would take her to the spa so we can definitely unwind. We would then go to a nice chill r&b lounge with relaxing vibes for food and drinks. I would then take her to some water get in a boat and enjoy the scenery. Definitely hitting you the make for some shopping, I would keep it real cute, fun, laid back and simple. Classy grown woman vibes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to first give thanks to God because without him I wouldn’t be where I am today. I also want to give a special s/o to GOFINITY which is a black owned beauty & wellness company in the marketing industry. I want to say thank you to this company because they gave me a chance to shine again when I lost hope in myself. My mentor Bawselady Meek introduced me to this company so I must give her the flowers she deserves too. She introduced me to this company and my life has changed forever. I’m back running my business full time during a time where most entrepreneurs had to go back to traditional jobs. My skin is clear which was attached to my confidence issues. I’m also getting my health back in order which is allowing me to soar to the top. GOFINITY is a gem and I can’t wait for the world to know more about this company.
