We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Febo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I came from a Salsa musician family, everyone knows at least one instrument, my father play conga, my uncle play trumpet and have two cousins that are music producers , beat makers, plays sax and trumpets so it was all over my family. I was the only one that wanst in to music untile I realize the talent I have to compose songs and melodies untile I take the same path at age of 23.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Right now I am self employed after being Account Manager for a prepaid phones brand for all Puerto Rico, USVI and some of Tampa FL market, I just realize what I want and what I dont want for my life, and what kind of life I want to live. That takes me to move from telecomunications industry to Boats and Marine industry and been close to the ocean, it doesnt feel like a job.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, I live in Puerto Rico so there are to many amazing places to visit but I will start by spend a morning at Luquillo Beach call Costa Azul. Then in after noon a good meal at “Los Kioskos” from Luquillo, maybe a Mofongo with sea food. Later in the night will end in old San Juan, at La Perla where we can have some drinks and good conversations where “Despasito” music video was film.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest fan in the world, my little Daughter Amaiya. And part of my team, my manager Siul lopez and my producer Yanziel they have been fighting for this dream as hard as me.
