We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe A. Mondesir and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloe, what is the most important factor behind your success?
GOD.

What should our readers know about your business?
When it comes to my writing services business, I am most proud of the fact that it developed as result of my own struggle to resilience testimony. I worked internships without pay all throughout college. When I finished undergrad, and began to matriculate through my graduate studies, I still found myself in positions where I was hoping that the “experience I may gain” would serve greater than any minimal to no pay. And, although I still believe every opportunity has been integral to my success, I do now also believe that it imperative for young people to always consider the “innovation they contribute” to people and places they engage- that which should be financially compensated. Once visiting a career services counselor myself, and beginning a paid internship during my 2nd to last graduate school semester, (that which led me to my first full time job), I realized I could brand myself better than anyone, and that I was also really good at branding other people’s unconventional experiences. My writing services business derived from this simple acceptance. Once I began confidently helping family and friends with resumes and cover letters, I then began to post in GroupMe chat’s and posting online through my social media page (ultimately creating one for my business too). One client after another, the referrals became (and continue) to be my main source of gaining new clients for my writing services business. Much like my customers, and my own journey, my services have evolved, including linkedin revamps, personal statements and applications, essays, recommendation and award letters, emails, book writing, program 101 tutorials, salary negotiation consultations, career advancement and networking consultations, and professional development consultations.
