We had the good fortune of connecting with Chinwé Salisa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chinwé, what do you want your legacy to be?
In the words of The Great Muva Bey, I want the world to know “I WAS HERE! I lived. I loved… I did – I’ve done everything that I wanted and it was more than I thought it would be…”

I want people to know I left this earth fulfilled and happy because I followed my own inner compass.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other Spiritualists is that I am self-taught and self-healed. I take pride in the fact that along my spiritual journey, I was never afraid to look at the most uncomfortable parts of my shadow and my light. Everything that I do in my work – and life – comes from the purest intention of following my intuition aka my drive. With that being said, I could never get bored with my work because it is my purpose, my passion, and my peace. I look forward to continuing the following of my North Star to the end of the earth and back. Asé

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely bring a friend to Six Flags first! Whether they were into riding roller coasters or not, there is so much about amusement parks that teach you about people’s character.

We would also visit the AU Center. I love showing off to people who are not from Atlanta just how Black and excellent my hometown is.

Next stop is Lenox Mall. Despite recent activity, Lenox is a classic ATL landmark and I spent 3 1/2 years as supervisor at Chick-Fil-A, so it will always have a place in my heart.

Speaking of food, we would hit up Chick-Fil-A, Satto’s, Houston’s and any wing spot ASAP!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I genuinely thank my Ancestors and Archangels. I stand on their shoulders of wisdom as I am nestled in their cocoon of protection – forever grateful for their love and support.

I would also like to give a shout out to my birth mother, MamaKiri Maponya. She introduced me to Abraham Hicks and I haven’t looked back since!
