We had the good fortune of connecting with Chef Rob and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chef, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process for creating my own business was creating opportunities for my children I didn’t have the privilege of having as a child! Creating generational stability! And creating a foundation for my children to grow and nourish and set themselves and their children up for success. I wanted to create a brand that exemplify the morals and values and passion I stand on.  I wanted to have something I could call my own and be able to pass down the teaching and opportunity and bring up people with me! I want everyone to experience what I have to offer and show off my talent!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The Chef Rob is more than a title or name! It’s a brand, a lifestyle, a story! I am a certified Culinary Chef, & Corporate Chef!I have experienced almost every single style of cooking! I’m classical Italian trained! I have been cooking for about 13years! I started out very young! Growing up how I did we had to learnt these skills very early for survival! And it became a habit then a passion! I Am also. Private Chef! It’s an experience you don’t want to miss! I’m from the south as you would assume I love southern cooking and I bring that aspect of my palet into flavor profiling! I do Savory and Sweet! Yes I Bake! But my favorite thing is Savory. I am also a Certified Butcher, getting your hands dirty is apart of the job! Being a chef is a form of Art! To be able to create these plates for only 30seconds to a minute max before being destroyed then doing it all over again with a different design and and proteins and still it’s beautiful takes a skill not every have! And a level of insanity to constantly do it and such high levels! This is what I do! Food is my love Language!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would hit up a hiking trail at Roswell creek! Beautiful scenery and waterfall that takes a 20/30 minute hike to get too and take a swim! Afterwards we would hit up either downtown Roswell/Alpharetta or inner city Atlanta for a good night outing I love hitting up some of the gaming rooms or bowling, or an adult activity place! ! Next day we have to go either go carting or indoor sky diving! And have brunch I favorite place is the flying biscuit! And then go find a happy hour and good eats!  We have to find some good oysters! My favorite spots are C&S or Hugo’s! or a good steakhouse! Some of my favorites choices are  Firebirds or Bask! Then to end it off we stepping out on the city in downtown Atlanta grabbing a sections and having some good Vibes!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give credit to Chef pleshette! She is the one who taught me the culinary arts, She poured into me and showed me the correct ways of not only culinary but life! She is one of the best Chefs I know! And gives everything she knows to her students!  As well as Chef Liesha! She has guided me and coached me through these last few years of my journey! And have so much experience with fresh farm to fork products and has taught me the ground game of culinary! And my family who have supported me on this Ride! Thanking my grandmother for everything she taught me and believed in me to help me get to my goal and pushed me to take it seriously and gave me her own recipes!

I hope this was enough if not please let me know!
