Hi Chef Jamar, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was because I was always interested in the military. It wasn’t the uniform or the badges or medals or recognition. It was because I loved helping but most importantly I wanted to serve. I wanted to show the young generation that no matter what you go through in life. You can fight and beat any obstacle that comes your way. You have to be fearless. Determined. Committed. Ambitious. And Fully believe in yourself, because no one else will.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
what sets me apart from others is what i have on the inside. it’s the fire! the flames! the ambition! the drive! the thing that said’s ( I don’t wanna go back to that place) the place where you felt like you have nothing but in the reality you always have something or someone to look up to. what i am most proud of is that my gift is different. its unique! And to know that you can impact someone on a deeper level than just saying hello or How are you doing? How i got here professionally, was i saw a women who took what God gave her and use it to change lives. That person is my number 1 fan, supporter, and queen. That person is my mom. what i want the world to know about me, my brand, my organizations, my clothing line, my culinary school, my restaurants and food truck, my own Tv show, my own everything. I just want yall to know, that we coming! we coming! Chef Jamar the dancer, the actor, the model, Award-winning chef and only 22 is coming! But, most improtantly ME and GOD ARE COMING! to let the world know that: GOD IS REAL!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot in the city is The Atlanta Breakfast Club it’s a place where you can go and eat great food but in a unique way. when you walk in, the first thing you should notice is the attire. The attire is how people view you! It’s how people can tell if you are serious or not. Yeah, I like fashion. It’s what sets you apart from everyone else. I like going to the movies, walk at the park, museums, shows and doing new and exciting things. But, most importantly TAKING RISK! life is too short not to live your best life everyday. So, if you was to ask me ‘AM I ALIVE? that answer is yes!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I can give recognition to a lot of people..But I gotta give recognition to my Queen, Number #1 Fan and Supportor my Mom. My mom is how I got started. She taught me how to bake and cook. She made it fun for me and that’s why I decided to never leave the kitchen. It amazes me how my mom can create theses beautiful delicious pastries… And Yeah I bake too. Just only on holidays. Lol
