Hi Chasity, how do you think about risk?
Entrepreneurship in itself is risk taking! You are betting on yourself and your aspirations. But why not take a risk on yourself? Taking risks might feel scary because most people zero in on the potential negatives.
“What if my business does not succeed?, What if no one supports my brand?, Do I even know enough people to start a business?.”
Take the risk and bet on yourself. When you win it will be a major accomplishment. Be sure that the risk is calculated, master the necessary skills, and create a solid team to mitigate potential negatives. Success is one step away from a calculated risk!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Lovethebrowz&Co was established on July 1st, 2022. I became a certified Ombre’ Powder Brow specialist in April of 2022. I am currently based in Augusta, Ga but I do travel Nationwide. A few other services I offer are Brow maintenance, Henna tinting, and Lash extensions.
What sets me apart is that I am truly passionate about making each of my clients feel and look amazing. I am interpersonal with each of my clients. Their comfort and satisfaction is high on my list of non-negotiables for Lovethebrowz&Co.
I am most proud of staying consistent through trying times of starting Lovethebrowz&Co. My motto is “If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal!”. One of the biggest challenges I faced as a new PMU artist in the industry was “imposter syndrome”.
I use to have feelings of self doubt, dealt with personal incompetence despite my growth, experience level and accomplishments. However with my cliental growing not only in Augusta, GA but also in Atlanta, GA , Columbia, SC , and my hometown Albany, GA. My confidence was built through staying consistent. This is ultimately how I have got to where I am professionally.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout Sambrina Dunlap of Incredibrowz and beyond, first and foremost she is an amazing mom! She is making and has made a name for herself in the PMU industry. Sambrina is my permanent makeup mentor as well which is such an honor! I aspire to be at her level of artistry in the PMU industry. She has continued to pour into me throughout my journey in the industry till this day. Forever grateful for Sambrina!
