We had the good fortune of connecting with Chasity Bailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chasity, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I actually never thought I would be running my own business. It just kind of happened to me. I got my bachelors degree in Marketing Management from the University of Memphis so I thought I wanted to work for a digital marketing company. When that did not work out the way that I planned, I had to think of something. I thought to myself: “How can I make a lot of money at once?” And then I answered my own question: real estate.

Shortly after, I was doing my usual scrolling on YouTube and came across an interview on The Breakfast Club with this man named Mark Whitten. He was talking about Wholesale real estate. I had no clue what this man was talking about- but I wanted to find out. Thus, my entrepreneur journey begin there. I signed up for his course to learn how to do wholesale real estate. My life has never been the same since.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a niche in real estate called wholesaling. It is actually an exit strategy that investors use when they come across properties. To get into this business you must understand contracts as well as basic real estate law.

What sets me apart from others is that I am a thorough researcher. I always have been. When I first got into this business I had so many questions that it scared me. This prompted me to do as much research as possible. I am never afraid to ask questions anymore. I would call the county’s assessors office and ask them what does this mean, what does that mean? That is how I learned what a warranty deed, quit claim deed, or special warranty deed was.

My research abilities have helped me secure contracts that have been very lucrative. I have also learned so much along the way about chain of title and property ownership. I also acquired Hedge Fund buyers by being very good at researching and not being afraid to reach out.

I got to where I am today by being fearless or ignoring my fears and pushing through regardless. I am a woman in a male-dominated industry so I always have to protect myself and stand up for what is right no matter what. I also am fairly young so people tend to not take me seriously but my work speaks for itself.

One thing I want the world to know about me and my ever growing brand is that I have done the work. And I will always continue to grow. It starts in your mind and it goes from there. Networking has been a game changer for me and my business. Always Network upward!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We like to eat so we will usually go out somewhere that we can get a nice drink and something to eat. My friends come to town every so often, so it really depends. We Love a good brunch at Roc South though! Recently we had brunch at Mojave in Sandy Springs.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my parents for always supporting me no matter what I wanted to do. Even if it was something that they did not see in their plans for me. I also want to shout out all of my family who show support anytime they see that I have accomplished anything along my journey. My best friends also play a huge role in supporting my journey and telling me how proud they are.

Also, I do not know the man‘s name but this man asked me what did I want out of life and he made me think really hard. I told him I wanted to be successful. He asked me how was I going to get what I wanted. I told him an education but I wasn’t really sure what answer he wanted from me. I just said that because I thought that was the right answer. He told me I needed a burning desire. I was working at a deli at the time and it was actually my last day there and I was sweeping and wiping off tables. He introduced me to a book called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and I have never thought the same since.
