We had the good fortune of connecting with Charnice Crowley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charnice, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business started with how I can help my community. My goals are to change the concept of what perfect skin looks like.

What should our readers know about your business?
Holistic Pleasures Spa & Apothecary uses plant-based products to give my clients the best results. Along with creating a family environment by catering to all ages and educating all on their own skin.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best friend week will start with food & end with food. Starting with brunch at cannabistro for their vegan omelet, then going to piedmont park for a relaxing picnic with our favorite snacks, then will visit IPIC for a movie and drinks at the Vortex.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for my mother ( Maurnice Jones) for always believing in me. My brother, Ricardo Crowley for being my personal cheerleader. My best friends Akiliah Bennett , David Hunter and Alexis Shropshire ( owner of crzy creations). Also my extended family Wayne Hartley ( Happy Hearts Petcare), Divance Walker ( Fwi & Neat Coffee) ,Dean Anthony ( Antpic Photography), Khiray Richards ( KTR Creations), Oouida Young ( Elite Medical Labs) and so much more wonderful entrepreneurs. They all have instilled in me to never give up on myself and the mission to change the world for the better.
