Meet Charles W. Harris III | Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Charles W. Harris III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charles W., why did you pursue a creative career?
So thing is i didnt pursue acting, it kinda found me. I discovered my passion for acting while in college. I began my journey to success by showcasing my abilities by doing stage plays and background work for local productions. Ironically a friend of mine, from one of my acting classes approached me asking if I wanted to be apart of his movie as a security background and at the time that was my field of work, so I said YES! However when on set, the lead actor never showed up so I was asked to learn his lines real quick, needless to say i became the lead and when the film premiered I received alot of positive feedback about my talent and also got offered many roles from various film makers locally and my love for acting grew even stronger and I started taking things a little more seriously. I dedicated myself to perfecting my craft and began taking more acting classes, auditioning for more roles and that ultimately got me to where i am today. I have been blessed by the Creator to have had opportunities to work with some great hollywood actors.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well as they say “Success is not measured by what a man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition he or she has overcome to reach their goals”. So no it hasnt been a easy road, having to deal with alot of rejections, not being financially stable due to leaving my job to pursue my dream took alot out of me mentally, it had me questioning my decisions and wondering if i was doing the right thing. It has been many times i had to just take a mental break to pray and re evaluate things, so from there i said to myself if they dont want to give me an opportunity to showcase my talents and be seen ill make my own, thats when i started to write my own content. Losing my father in 2017 due to parkinsons disease and also having to leave my place of residents at the time made me a more humble person where i forced myself to focus and perfect my craft. After pushing myself to my full potential i have been blessed to have landed roles working with some of hollywoods legends.
