We had the good fortune of connecting with Chantel Rice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chantel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting Major Blessings Movement was simply just managing moments and not missing the opportunity to be a light to someone. Also, not always being in a position to financially bless someone pushed me to find other ways to do so and I found that it costs nothing to smile, share kind words and be nice.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Major Blessings Movement is a faith-based lifestyle company focused on creating positive atmospheres and uplifting individuals across the world. I travel to different events to speak as an individual or panelist; I also vend and, depending on the event I have an opportunity to bless people with merch that I’ve created with simple declarations, inspirational messages, and gentle reminders from the Bible… What sets us apart and what I’m most proud of is that we aspire to and are committed to cultivating more environments that will influence people to love without limits, encourage faith and build the kingdom of God.
To get to where I am now I became about my fathers business I continue to pursue God non-stop, no it wasn’t easy and its still not because there can be so many distractions. The biggest lesson I learned is to trust God fully and when you put him first you will have peace and everything will make sense.
I’d like everyone to know that Major Blessings is not just a brand, it’s a ministry, a lifestyle movement that anyone can be a part of.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s no real itinerary however the place that I recommend everyone check out is Embassy City 4665 Macland Rd. Powder Springs, Georgia

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First I want to shout out Jesus Christ, because none of this is possible without him. Now I want to shout out my church Embassy City for providing a strong community of love, support and prayer.
